The Children’s Ministry at PCEA Murang’a nurtures the faith of our youngest members through engaging Bible lessons, fun activities, and community involvement. The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade provides a platform for discipline, Christian values, and service, helping children grow into responsible Christian leaders.

Co-opted members interested in B & GB work but should not exceed % of the Council
members
B & GB is inter -denominational and seeks to work closely with Boys’ and Girls’ organizations
locally and oversees
PRINCIPLES
The Brigade acknowledges Jesus as Saviour and the Lord according to the scriptures and seeks to
fulfil its aim to the Glory of one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Brigade witnesses to the
standard set by Jesus Christ for the whole life
The Brigade gives positive teaching on the Christian attitude to social evils facing its members
FUNCTIONS.
- To see that the objectives of the B&GB in the advancement of God’s kingdom and acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord among Brigade members are taught
- To work hand in hand and extend God’s kingdom through stewardship and service with fellow Christians.
- To encourage and support weaker companies.
- To identify any project where the council can help by giving aid or donations.
- Visiting the needy.
- To care for environment /wildlife.
- To organize camps, picnics, music, rallies, games, bands, handicrafts, displays etc.
- Observing the B &G Week and organizing Church Fund- drives and Jumbo sales to finance Brigade activities and commitments.
