The PCEA Church Men’s Fellowship (PCMF) aims to build men into spiritually strong leaders in their families, church, and community. This ministry provides a space for men to grow in faith, serve, and mentor younger generations through Bible study, fellowship, and outreach programs.c.
CONSTITUTION
According to the PCMF Constitution revised in February 2001, the fellowship shall endeavour to be a men’s united Christian force in matters covering faith, witness and service to Jesus Christ, and to serve God and glorify Him at all levels of the Church activities as individuals and to the community and nation.
OBJECTIVES
- To encourage members to discern, through scriptures, positive Christian contribution and living in all aspects of life and find ways and means of bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit
- To build up Christian character by encouraging regular attendance at public worship, the reading of scriptures and witness to Jesus Christ
- To encourage and develop a living Christian fellowship among members of the fellowship as disciples of Jesus Christ
- To encourage a sense of responsibility and service towards others, especially those who need practical, social or spiritual assistance
- To develop relationship in sharing and to provide opportunities for guidance and counselling among members, families and youth
- To support and encourage one another in upholding the Christian faith on both personal and social responsibilities
- To establish forums for discussion on specific issues of Christian life, service and witness
- To encourage with established church courts, committees and groups in their programmes and functions, where the input of the fellowship will be desirable.
- To support and participate in the development and maintenance of the church facilities.
- To strengthen and enrich the family by encouragement of mutual support of the family welfare and spiritual growth in order to function as God intended.
- To initiate and develop channels of communication, to encourage sharing in fellowship with other christian churches and organizations bearing similar objectives.
- To encourage members both individually and correctively, to be involved in mission and evangelism of the church.
- To encourage members to discover their full or part time Christian vocation.
- As our brothers and sisters keeper, to be concerned about the welfare of those under privilege than ourselves.
- To carry out any other GA/GAC or business committee instructions, or resolutions referred to in accordance with the set objectives of the organization.
